Exors: wife; grandson Samuel BUTLER. Wit: John HARDEE, Sarah HARDEE, Stephen MOTTE. D: 29 July 1772. P: nd. R: nd. P. 582."

"Benjamin BUTLER of Newberry County to Willis BUTLER of same, three feather beds & furniture, one roan mare, one bay horse, five head of cattle, 12 head of hoggs, 50 bushels of corn & one Iron pott, & half dozen plats, two basons, one shovel plow, 14 March 1794. Benjamin BUTLER (X) (Seal). Wit: JOHN BUTLER, Wm BUTLER. Proved in Newberry County by the oath of William BUTLER 9 March 1794 before Pro. WILLIAMS, J. P. Recorded 7 jan 1795."
