I have more details on this line and would like information on John Butler (born in England??) and Mary Wallis. (Her sister is Elizabeth Wallis, daughters of James Wallis). Contact me at .

1) Descendents of John Butler (b. before 1673, d 1719) & Mary Wallis (b. after 1651). They had land in "Warwick Swamps" and "Blackwater Swamps" in Charles City Co.

2) James Butler b. about 1703 in Dinwiddie Co (then called Prince George Co), Virginia, d. Nov 18, 1791; m. about 1735 to Elizabeth Unknown
3) James Butler b. 1743 in Dinwiddie Co (then called Prince George Co), Virginia; d. June 26, 1828; m. Dec 24, 1768 to Priscilla Thomas who was b. 1748 and d. June 30, 1821
4) Jonathan Butler b. Oct 3, 1775 in Dinwiddie Co (then Prince George Co), Virginia; d. Jan 18, 1868 in Randolph Co, Indiana; m. on 09/14/1801 to Elizabeth “Betty” Harris who was b. Sep16, 1783 and d. July 29, 1864.

Eleven children were born to Jonathan and Betty, all in Campbell County, Virginia: Delitha (born circa 1801), William (born 1804), James (circa 1806), Martha (1808), Nancy Ann (circa 1810), Jonathan Junior (circa 1812), Elizabeth Thomas (1814), Edward (circa 1816), Mary Jane (1818), Robert Henry (1820), and Louisa Fountain (1824).

5) Robert Henry Butler b. 11/23/1820 in Campbell Co, VA, m. 10/22/1846 and d. 12/23/1879 in Peoria (Franklin Co.) Kansas. Wife, Mary Ann Thompson b. 2/12/1820 in Clinton Co., Ohio and d. 02/08/1898 in The Dalles, Hood River Co., Oregon.
6) Charles Leslie Butler b. 11/10/1847 in Stoney Creek Township, Randolph Co., Indiana, d. 01/08/1944 in Hood River, OR; m. on 11/10/1867 to Caroline R. Bixler who was b. 04/16/1860 in Hancock, IL and d. 01/09/1907 in Hood River, OR.

7) Children: Cora, Truman, Nellie, Carrie, Jessie & Pearle.

7) Cora Butler b. 08/01/1870 on Elm Street in Ottowa, Kansas and d. 01/16/1944 in Centralia, Washington… was married to George Dysart b. 08/26/1865 and d. 08/29/1945.

8) Children were Avis, Lloyd (1893 – 1979), and Lorna Dysart. I am descended from Lorna Dysart. Lloyd’s children were George, John, Benjamin and Lloyd Junior.
