I have John Butler from Ireland, but I found their name was BUTTLER. Then they immigrated to Canada. From there my family branch (Samual Butler) went to Ensley Center, Newago, Michigan. (Newago County is just North of Kent County in Michigan.)
It might be the opposite of what your posting was, but I wasn't sure if that was what you meant.
