You know, for al you new users, I can't say enough good about
Bygones......my mouth runneth over, LOL. If you take the time to learn it,
you won't be sorry. It is WELL worth it! The tutorials online take some tine
to get through but they will shed light in your tunnel.........and then
you'll know it's not a train at the other end, LOL. Take some time to go
through them and it will all make sense.

Carl, to answer your question ..........the .5 margin is the correct one to
use. That is just letter sized with a half inch margin.

I think it is important for new users to know, too, that you do not have to
use every database that is included in Bygones. I myself just use the
"normal" ones that you need mostly ......research, locality, log, source,
etc. I also am a big fan of the Maps database. There are certain ones you
need to use to make the program work best for you as it was designed
.....some of the ones I mentioned above, but the others are not necessary
unless you have a particular use for them. I do NOT index. I think that one
is too time consuming.....time I'd rather spend researching.

Troy, who built Bygones and gave it to the world as a free gift, is a great
guy who is more than willing to give his time and effort to answering
questions, if he's available. He's given a real gift to all of us
researchers in Bygones.

Also, if I can help anyone by answering their questions, I'd be happy to
help.

Kathy
