I have one database and my log files are by location. When I enter family
info in my genie program, I reference the data by the log file and extract
no. in Bygones. My family files have an index from Bygones. I file the
research extracts and documents in binders by location.
Pertinent data to my direct line is also stored in my safe deposit box.
My research involves a one name study; and it will probably be trashed
sometimes in the future so to assure that my family will have the birth
certificates, wills, etc. I store them in the safe deposit box.
