Oh, I should have gotten back sooner.....but.....
We will definitely need to share more info on Byrnes/Harmon.
Going back to the first info I have on my Harmon line, one gal does have our name listed as "Hardman" actually.
Dennis Hardman/Harmon marr Mara/Mary Callan approximately 1804. Dennis was of Ballykenny Parish, Ferrad Barony, Drogheda Union, Co. Louth and Mara was of Louth Parish, Louth Barony, Ardee & Dundalk Unions, Co.Louth.
It would be very likely that your Mary Byrne(s) marr John Hardman on 3/27/1816 represents "another connection."....
especially with these folks linking up with each other in America (always wondering why certain families "followed" one another to certain areas). So, if Mary Byrne Hardman is resting peacefully in Boston for all these years, I'd definitely like to know more about her........and these double (name) connections we seem to have. P.S. Good for her not to have to pay rent......the Irish can be pretty tight. Sheila
