Please everyone, use and update your anti-virus software! That way, we
won't have to have any more warnings from list members and the potential for
nasty things to pass around the entire list, damaging us all.

Subject: Check for/beware attachment virus messages.

Dear Listers,
Some few days ago I mentioned the Sircam A. virus that
was making its way around under various subject matters, with attachments to
open, from "tony forde" and "Jean". Last night, on my arrival home from Co.
Wexford and Co. Tipperary from a removal/funeral, there were 4 more viruses
waiting for me, again under different headings. This morning there was
another virus, with an attachment, and no message in the main body, and with
Subject: "Don't drink the water !!" sent to me, this time purporting to be
from a friend of mine in the States who doesn't send attachments and who
likely was completely unaware of his email address being used to send the
virus. Obviously somebody with a warped mind has got hold of a number of
email addresses, so just beware. In case my name or email address would be
put to one of these, with the usual attachment and some concocted subject
matter, please delete it immediately because I don't send attachments with
my emails. Riobard.
