Debbie, I'm sure that 30 white men weren't hung for injustice to and
murdering of Indians; the whole Indian/white man saga is not one of this
country's proudest for either side. I guess you have to make judgement
of any event by the time in which it occurred so I still personally
wouldn't count Abe Lincoln as a Black Sheep; if we counted him as a Black
Sheep what about George Washington, didn't he own slaves that Martha later
freed? (It has been a long time since I studied history so may have this
wrong.) Gawd, we can't call the Father of Our Country a Black Sheep now,
can we? Barbara
