I have been told that the Jost Hite family is German and arrived in the
Shenandoah Valley from PA. Does anyone know what area of PA they came from? I
have a later Hight who married a Proctor also from PA and thought perhaps, I
might get some idea where to look for my Proctor's from the location of the
Hites. Pretty much of a stretch but better than nothing.
