Ok , suggestion 1.

Have you tried to have someone else with FOW 6.0 open your back-up?

Have you recently put any Norton programs into your computer? I understand
there is a glitch in the latest upgraded products that contain a file called
DCOM95 which is a 32 bit program file put out by microsoft and used to make
programs "Compatable" with each other, unfortunately it corrupts several
programs when it overwrites the previous version. This hapened to me.

2. Please refrain from taking comments and making comments personally. these
comments do nothing except alienate the recipient, I do not allow flaming on
the BlackSheep-L, and comments of an offensive nature start flame wars. If
you feel you have been unjustly portrayed, please take it private and work it
out as adults. There is no need to disrupt the list with bickering. Let time
cool the heat before replying and then try to take a neutral stance and
address the problem calmly.

we have been very fortunate to have many exception people as members, and have
so far avoided the flame wars common elsewhere, I am proud of this and
appreciate it very much.
