My grand parents were immigrants to the U.S. , back in the late 1800's early
1900, they were marked for assassination by the Ottoman empire because of
their political beliefs and activities. My Ggrandfather was assassinated
by the Ottoman Turks for same. his daughter, my grandmother, and my
grandfather were one step ahead of an assassination squad when they left
Syria in the late 1800's. in fact, the only picture we have of my
ggrandfather was taken while he was in his casket, after his assassination.
Was wondering if this would qualify me for membership?
