Just going through a huge backlog of emails (call it "Playing Catch
Up") and entering information into my family files that has
accumulated in my "To Do" file during the course of the year and
discovered a collateral connection with Gen. Robert E. Lee on Bobby's
maternal line:

Palatea Harrison was a daughter of Henry Harrison, who was a son of
Pres. Benjamin Harrison (1726-1791), and Elizabeth Avery.
Further, Pres. Benjamin Harrison was the grandson of Robert 'King'
Carter (1663-1732), great-grandfather of Anne Hill Carter (1773-1829),
mother of Gen. Robert Edward Lee (1807-1870).

Palatea married into Bobby's Caviness/Cabanis/Cabiness family line.
Or vice versa. Whatever. :-))
