Not that there is not a monument like this in union county, but this
looks like the monument in the maritime memorial in toledo ohio. if you
go up behind cosi under the cherry st. bridge there is an old maritime
monument of the great lakes the city is talking about removing on top of
the works is various figures done by a man who loved to us brass and
marble and create great works of art. they have one similar to the one
you are asking about it has something to do with the ships coming home
