As far as Irish ancestry goes, I think we all need to be careful about that
as well! Some people in my family consider us to be Irish, but our people
actually came from the Isle of Man. And then trying to explain the whole
Orangeman thing...phew! We have seen on some census reports our ancestors
being reported as Irish--whether they reported it that way or the
census-taker decided to write it is going to remain a mystery.
