Mine hasn't a funny story but anytime something heavy dropped around the house and made a loud noise mom would say "dropped your watch". No idea where it comes from, her or? Makes no sense to me other than I knew what it meant when she said it lol
We used plenty of the usual "sayings" (i.e. slicker than snail snot on a doorknob) but family created? I can't think of any.
