Country music fans might remember a song by the Oak Ridge Boys called "Whatever" that listed a couple dozen variations on that one.  It was a cute little ditty that had several I had never heard before including "Whatever paints your wagon," "Whatever begs your pardon,"  and my all-time favorite, and the one I still use today, "Whatever bangs your shutters."

"Same B***S***, different station."  -- t-shirt (with the actual word, of course) worn by one of my program directors when he got called in to deal with an emergency in the middle of the night.  I commented "I'll bet you don't wear that when the big boss is around."  He said "Not on your life!"
