Thank you for some light on miners. My gr.gr. grandfather, Edward Williams,
was born 1822. His father was a Thomas Williams. It's likely there was a
Thomas sibling of Edward's but I don't know at this point what siblings he
had if any. Edward was born at Merthyr [Glamorgan] and married Mary Evans
there in 1848 [High St. Chapel] though the marriage record says he was living
at Rhymney at the time.
Does any of that ring a bell? I sure would like to find other Williamses of
my line! [Naturally... :-)]
