Hi, Why don't you get the book ''The History of Ebbw Vale'' by Arthur Gray
Jones. Great book and full of interesting bits and pieces. I know you can
still get it from Smiths, but you might have to order it. I was born in
Eureka Place and remember Colliers row very very well. My Aunt lives in
Libanus that was in front of Colliers Row and we had a school pal who lived
at the end of the row, name of Maureen King. any bells???? I went to
Willowtown, Pontygof, Briery Hill, and the Grammar school. best
