Hello fellowlisters

Apologies to those that may have read this message before, but I'm hoping
some new lister may have some information on George BROWN.

I am trying to find out if the George BROWN I have is the one born to James
& Ann BROWN on 23 Aug 1840 in Bath.

In 1871 & 1881 censuses he was a Cooper to trade born c. 1839/40
He married Caroline WITHERS on 15 May 1864 St. Werburgh's Bristol
They had 3 children Rosina, George & Amelia BROWN.
Caroline died June 1881 and George re-married Jemima WITHERS (nee THORNE)
his sister-in-law, the widow of Caroline's deceased brother who already had
a son James Ambrose WITHERS b. 875. Jemima & George married Jan 6 1882 St.
Lukes, Bedminster.

George BROWN's address in 1881 was 28 Catherine Mead Street, Bedminster but
cannot be found from 1886 onwards in the Bedminster electoral register or
nearby. Jemima is found in 1904-1910 Bedminster Street Guide so maybe
George had died by then.

Any relevant help would be much appreciated to get over this brick wall!
