Subject: Buckland / Warren / Ashley - Somerset

I'm posting my research interests in the hope of pooling
resources with any like-minded souls!

I am a direct descendant of Sylvanus Buckland, born about
1834 in Bath, Somerset, parents John and Hannah (or Anne),
probably nee Batton. Anne almost certainly remarried at
some time to later be a Warren. I believe his siblings to
be Mary Anne, Emma and William.

Sylvanus was transported to Australia in 1853 where he
eventually married and had many descendants (including me
obviously!). His wife's name was Mary Wallace, from
Ireland. Whilst in still in prison in England, his mother,
Mrs Warren, visited him. SHe gave her address as 5 Abbey
Green Bath.

On a totally separate line, I am also a direct descendant of
Eliza Ashley, born 1838 in Wrington, Somerset. Her parents
were William Ashley and CHarlotte Moore. Eliza came out
alone to Australia as an assisted immigrant in 1858. She
married William Coombe and had 4 children.

If any of these names mean anything to anyone, I'd be very
happy to share information.
