These names are very familiar to me, but don't quite match. I have Sarah
CLOTHIER b. Bristol 1818 married John COOMBES; her sister Anne CLOTHIER b.
abt 1829 married a John GINGELL 1853 in Ryde, Isle of Wight. Lots of
similarities - any ideas? Father of Sarah and Anne is John CLOTHIER -
blacksmith.

> We have one KEEPING on the South Coast he is John KEEPING born 10/03/1844
in Batheaston. He married Sarah Ann Clothier GINGELL on 03/09/1866 in
Brighton. Sarah and the children left for USA in 1873 as she had joined the
LDS. John was meant to join them but was never heard of again. We do not
know if there was any family in that area earlier. Does any of this sound
familiar?
