Hi Gordon and Listers,
Thanks for the tips, Gordon. Having now seen the wonders of the SRO and
National Archives sites, you may not be hearing from me as much as usual. I
know some will breathe a sigh of relief at this statement :-)
However, I must tear myself away from all these diversions and get on with
'Edna's book' today.
Though, first, I think I just might pop into the criminal registers to see
why 23-year-old William PAINE of Hinton Blewett, my 3x great-grandfather's
brother, was in Ilchester Gaol in 1823.
