Hello list,

I have just subscribed to the list. Here are some of my interests in the
Bristol area.

LAVER - my ggg grandmother Mary Ann LAVER was from Pitcombe, Somerset. Her
son Elias LAVER moved to Cardiff and that is where my branch of the
LAVER/LEVER family remained. One of Mary's brothers, William LAVER moved to
Bristol

He had many children in Bristol but only two lived to be adults. Ada and
Frederick both married members of the HOSKINS family from Bristol.

PULLEN - my gg grandfather Charles Nash PULLEN was born in Bristol in 1875
and moved to Cardiff by 1900. His father Albert PULLEN remained in Bristol
with the rest of the family. Some names associated with this PULLEN family
are NASH and CALLAWAY.

I have found almost all of these in the 1841 - 1901 censuses and have
details of most of their BMDs.

Just posting this in the hope that there are others out there who have an
interest in these names.
