Hi Ian,

It would have been good to see you:-)

I only knew about the event as LSS had written the date of the
Gloucestershire Family History Society Open Day in his computer diary.

Now wasn't that kind of him to take me since he professes not to like
family history!

One of my main reasons for going was to buy Gelligaer parish register fiche
because I've recently discovered that LSS's Clutton PARFITT family is
linked to a JONES family of Gelligaer, Glamorgan.

Unfortunately, the Glamorgan Family History Society members manning the
stall didn't have any of the society's microfiche with them:-(
