When tawlking to others who are from NY, outside the area, we have decided
what makes a NYer. They are passionate in whatever they do. They love a
good arguement about anything. Nothing personal, just a good debate. It
could be how to get from The Bronx to Yonkers or where to get a good corned
beef sandwich. They are passionate about talking, passionate about food.
NYers are so misunderstood. We aren't rude. We tell it like it is.
Outsiders can't handle it.

Whenever my wife and I are at some organized event somehow we always seek
out people from NJ and NY. It just seems natural. It reaffirms who we are
and why we can't adjust to living anywhere else. No one else understands
why we don't like pizzer and bagels anywhere else but home. NY will always
been my home no mata where I live.
