I live in Modesto which is the county seat of Stanislaus Co., the county in
which Waterford is located. I visited the cemetery here in town and found
the info you were searching for. Any variances in dates or spelling is due
to the entries made in the cemetery log book. "James Hilyard Carmichael, d.
28 Sep 1908, Waterford, 51 y, 11m, 10 days. Mary Elizabeth Carmichael, b.
18 Jun 1857, d. 3 May 1919, 61y(plot owner, W. T. Carmichael)". As an added
note, my mother's maiden
name was Anna Elizabeth Carmichael, b. 1907, Freeport, IL. If I can help
you any further, please ask.
