Death Takes Mrs. Hussey; Rites Set

Mrs. Minnie P. Hussey, 81, who formerly lived at 551 N. Third St., died
Sunday in a San Jose rest home after a long illness. She was the mother
of Ellison M. Hussey, deputy Santa Clara County clerk, of San Jose. She
had lived here 38 years.

Mrs. Hussey was the wife of the late Elbridge L. Hussey, San Jose fruit
buyer and member of a pioneer Watsonville family. She was a native of
Watsonville.

Also left are two daughters, Mrs. Elma L. Beardsley of San Jose and Myldred
Hussey of San Francisco; two sisters, Lucille Beulieu of San Jose and Ida
McGowan of Oakland; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services at 1 p.m. tomorrow in Darling-Fischer Garden Chapel, will
be followed by cremation in Oak Hill Memorial Park.

HUSSEY - In San Jose, Calif., Dec. 9, 1951, Minnie P. Hussey, beloved wife
of the late Elbridge L. Hussey; loving mother of Mrs. Elma L. Beardsley
of San Jose, Miss Myldred Hussey of San Francisco, Ellison M. Hussey of
San Jose; dear sister of Lucille Beaulieu of San Jose and Ida McGowen of
Oakland; grandmother of 5, great-grandmother of 4; a native of Watsonville,
Calif.; aged 81 years.

Farewell services tomorrow, Wed., Dec. 12, at 1 p.m., at the
Darling-Fischer Garden Chapel, Tenth and Santa Clara Streets. Interment,
Oak Hill Memorial Park.

- Roger Darling), 471 E. Santa Clara St., near Tenth. Inurnment, Oak Hill
Memorial Park. Please omit flowers.
