Salas Funeral Home for Glenn Richard Nickel, who died September 23 in Lodi
as a result of a motorcycle accident. A native of Winterset, Iowa, he was
72 years of age.

Colorado where he met and married Margaret Eberhart in Fort Morgan, Colorado
April 1939. In 1946 he moved to Los Angeles and in 1947 to Lodi. In that
year Mr. Nickel co-founded Nickel's Garage in Galt, later known as Nickel's
Auto Parts. He moved to Galt in 1974 and since his retirement in 1979, he
has still maintained his interest in the auto shop.

of Galt, a daughter, Glenda Sanders of Lodi; three grandchildren; and six
sisters, Ruth Ramsey, Ellen Bulmer, Kathryn Hall, Clara Meek and Beth
Roberts of Colorado, and Lena Thorn of Wichita, Kansas.
