DOROTHY JOHNSON

Mount Shasta--Services for Dorothy Ardela Johnson, 68,
of Lake Shastina will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday
at the Mountain Christian Fellowship church.

The Rev. Roger Johnson of the church will officiate.

Mrs. Johnson died Friday, Nov. 20, 1992, at her
residence.

Born Sept. 12, 1924, in Roseau, Minn., she moved to
Shasta County in 1978 from Downey.

She was a homemaker and a Pink Lady for Downey
Community Hospital. She was a member of the Lake
Shastina Ladies Golf Club and the Mountain Christian
Fellowship church.

Survivors include husband Willmar of Lake Shastina;
sons Roger of Lake Shastina and Randolph of Hollydale;
sister Eileen Nybro of Santa Clara; and six
grandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by Mt. Shasta Memorial
Chapel in Mount Shasta.

Memorial contributions may be made to the South
Siskiyou County Hospice, P.O. Box 687, Mount Shasta,
CA 96067.

MERLE BURNHAM

Red Bluff--Services for Merle Duane Burnham, 70, of
Cottonwood will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the
First United Methodist Church.

Mr. Burnham died Saturday, Nov. 21, 1992, at Mercy
Medical Hospital in redding.

Born Nov. 18, 1922, in Pilger, Neb., he moved to
Tehama County in 1957 from Pilger.

He was a maintenance mechanic for Diamond
International in Red Bluff, Kimberly-Clark Lumber Co.
and Simpson Paper Co., both in Anderson. He was a
World War II Navy veteran.

Survivors include wife Ardith and sons Wesley and
Wilson, all of Cottonwood; brothers Lowell of Denton,
Texas and Lee of Pound, W.Va.; sisters Delpha Almy and
Verla Amborn, both of Minneapolis, and Betty Williams
of Georgia; and one grandchild.

Arrangements are being handled by Chapel of the
Flowers in Red Bluff.

RICHARD MCALLISTER

Services for Richard McAllister, 63, of Redding were
conducted today at North Valley Baptist church in
Redding.

Burial will be at Los Molinos Cemetery.

Mr. McAllister was a retired sales manager for Howard
Taylor and Taylor Motors in Redding.

EUGENE HOPKINS

Red Bluff--Graveside services for Eugene Dee Hopkins,
69, of Red Bluff will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at
the Oak Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. today and from
8 a.m. until noon Friday at Chapel of the Flowers in
Red Bluff.

Mr. Hopkins died Monday, Nov. 23, 1992, at St.
Elizabeth Community Hospital in Red Bluff.

Born Feb. 2, 1923, in Cleora, Okla., he moved to
Tehama County in 1970 from Tracy.

He worked at the Herlong Army Depot near Susanville as
a fireman and later was Fire Chief for the Tracy Army
Depot. He was a World War II Armey veteran.

Survivors include son Tim of South San Francisco;
brothers John, Earl and Bill, and sister Beulah Brown,
all of Oklahoma; three grandchildren; and one
great-grandchild.

IRENE GLACKLER

Anderson--Services for Irene Helen Glackler, 70, of
Anderson will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at
Anderson's Chapel.

The Rev. Robert Cason of Balls Ferry Baptist Church
will officiate.

Burial will be at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Mankato, Minn.

Visitation will be from 1 to 6 p.m. Friday at the
chapel.

Mrs. Glackler died Monday, Nov. 23, 1992, at Mercy
Medical Center in Redding.

Born Feb. 27, 1922, in Smith's Mill, Minn., she moved
to Shasta County in 1976 from Mankato, Minn. She was
a homemaker.

Survivors include son Leonard of Anderson; daughters
Roxann Lyons of Anderson and Joyce Rauchman of
Mankato, Minn.; brothers Charles Compton and Burwin
Compton, both of Klamath Falls, Ore.; sister Hazel
Kistler of Mankato, Minn.; 11 grandchildren; and 12
great-grandchildren.

LINNEA CRISS

Linnea Eva Criss, 81, of Redding died Monday, Nov. 23,
1992, at Canyonwood Nursing Center in Redding.

No services will be held.

Born March 28, 1911, in Greeley, Colo., she moved to
Shasta County in 1954.

She was a fire lookout for the U.S. Forest Service.

Survivors include sister Mildred Gilliam of Salinas.

Arrangements are being handled by Lawncrest Chapel in
Redding.

MINNIE ROLAND

Minnie Henrietta Roland, 88, of Redding died Saturday,
Nov. 21, 1992 at her home.

No services will be conducted.

Burial will be at Lawncrest Memorial Park in Redding.

Born Nov. 30, 1903, in Wayne, Neb., she moved to
Shasta County in 1939 from Beaumont. She was a former
pharmacy clerk.

Survivors include daughter Bonadel Lampley of Redding;
sister Alice Watkins of Yountville; two grandchildren;
and three great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by Lawncrest Chapel in
Redding.
