Graveside services for Reed C. Anthony, 88, of Hemet, who died Wednesday at
Hemet Valley Hospital, will be 10:45 a.m. Friday at Riverside National
Cemetery, staging area one. Visitation is today from 2 to 5p.m. at Westley
Funeral Home. Mr. Anthony was born Sept. 7, 1900, in Oakland, Penn. He
lived in California 30 years, 20 years in Hemet. He worked as a coal miner
for Yeager Coal Co. For 25 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran who served in
World War I. Survivors include sons, Wayne L. of Hemet and Robert J. of
Lyndhurst, Ohio, and two grandchildren.
