SCAFF, Orbin Elmer - Services were conducted today in Greenlawn
Mortuary for Orbin Elmer Scaff, 51, 213 Sperry St., who died Sunday in his
home. Bishop C. Erwin Waite officiated and interment followed in Greenlawn
Memorial Park. Mr. Scaff, a native of Texas, had resided in Kern County 31
years. He had been a welder 8 years and was last employed by E. O. Mitchell.
Mr. Scaff was a member of First Methodist Church. Survivors include his
widow, Lucile; two daughters, Barbara Trotter, Sunnyvale and Robin Elise
Scaff; a son, Monte Scaff, Bakersfield; his mother Minnie O. Gary, Lamont; a
brother, Seagles Gary, Bakersfield; and three grandchildren. Pallbearers were
Rocky Hunt, Leland Brown, Bob Davidson, Smith. Honorary Pallbearers were
Hubert Ray Mitchell, P. C. Turner and Grady Bates, Art Duran and Ted Endes.
