Jacob Black was killed by a falling tree Monday, near
the Shasta Lumber Company mill.

George Ketchum was married to Miss Emma Kesler, of
Dunsmuir, at Sacramento last week. George he Ketch-um
at last!

Born, at Shasta, June 17, to the wife of E. F. Dack, a
daughter.

We are regretfully compelled to announce the death of
Mrs. Henry Stacher, of Millville, which occurred
Wednesday, June 10th. Mrs. Stacher was aged 45 years
at the time of her death, and leaves a husband and six
children, besides many friends, to sorrow over her
untimely summoning from earthly scenes.
