Tues., Aug. 29, 1933
Mrs. Nettie Dick, for 34 years a resident of Redding,
passed away late Monday evening at the home of her
daughter, Mrs. Lola Kable, after a protracted illness.
She was born in California 67 years ago and spent her
entire life in the state.
Mrs. Dick was active in the affairs of Mt. Shasta
Rebekah lodge. She is survived by three children,
City Electrician Elbert E. Dick, Frank M. Dick of the
Pacific Gas & Electric Company and Mrs. Kable; three
grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A brother, George B. Blanchard of Oroville and a
sister, Mrs. Belle Babcock of Sacramento, also survive
her. The services will be held in McDonald & Scott's
chapel at 2 p.m. Wednesday afternoon with the Ladies
Auxiliary of the Canton officiating at the chapel.
The Mt. Shasta Rebekah Lodge will officiate at the graveside.
