Hi, I am not sure if someone is looking up the information that I requested.
I hate to be a pest, but need to find out if any family members are still
alive to share some valuable information with.
I would like the news paper death notice and if possible the cemetery where
this lady is a rest.
Her name is Beulah Parkington, b. June 16, 1899 in MASS. d. Nov. 7, 1958 in
Los Angles, CA. Her mothers maiden name was Bates.

Thank you for all you time and hard work. Sincerely, Betty Budil

I'm sorry to report that there is currently NO VOLUNTEER on this list for
Los Angeles County. Los Angeles County is very big. The area is very user
unfriendly due to distance, traffic, costs, etc. Not very many people had obits in
the Los Angeles Times and there are/were at least 100 other newspapers for
the various towns and cities of the county.
Unless you are certain which newspaper an obit would be found in, locating
one could take weeks since the different libraries have different papers
depending on their location. A volunteer cannot just go to one place and have
access to all the possible papers of Los Angeles Co. You should get the death
cert and find out the name of the Funeral Director and then, if possible,
contact them to see if an obit was even submitted to any newspaper and if so, which
one.
If you can locate which newspaper the obit appeared in or at least which
town, the Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness group seems to have some
volunteers listed in L.A.- http://www.raogk.combefore.htm
