Hogue, Jack - Services will be held in Hillcrest Mortuary Chapel Wednesday
at 3 p.m. for Jack Hogue, 73, 2520 Alta Vista Drive, who died April 29 in a
Bakersfield hospital. The Rev. Mel Gwaltney will officiate. Mr. Hogue was born
in Kentucky and had resided in Kern County 30 years. He is survived by the
widow, Martha; two sons, Jack, Jr., and Michael of Bakersfield; two daughters,
Mrs. Shirley brown and Mrs. Barbara Ward of Bakersfield; a sister, Kate Smith
of Reno, Nev., and 13 grandchildren. Pallbearers will be George Bachmann,
John Chafin, Ed Joiner, Gene Bogart, Chuck Williams, and Lyle smith. Interment
will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
