Obituary Notices

YOUNG, Walter W. - Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., tomorrow in the
Doughty-Calhoun-O'Meara Chapel for Walter W. Young, 79, 1516 Williams St.,
who died Nov. 30 in a local hospital. The Rev. G. V. Work will officiate.
Interment will follow in the Glennville Cemetery. The deceased was a native of
Plano. He had lived in Kern County for 50 years. He retired from cattle ranching
14 years ago and lived in Bakersfield one year. Survivors include one
daughter, Mrs. Lurline Osborne, 2128 N. California Ave.; two nieces, Adalina Moyer
and Mildred Henning of Sherman Oaks.
