Cryptside services will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Park, 3700 River Blvd.
at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 31, 1996 for William James Little, 90, who
passed away August 29, 1996 in Bakersfield. Members of the Elks Lodge #266
will officiate.
Mr. Little was born May 10, 1906 in Poestenkell, New York and resided in
Kern County for 48 years. He was last employed by the County of Kern Housing
Authority as General Housing Manager for 20 years. He was a life member of Elks
Lodge #266 and Man of the Year in 1981, and a Charter Member of the Roving
Elks. He was a member of the Retired Public Employees Association. Mr. Little
was a very devoted husband to his wife, Lila, for 41 years.
He is survived by Lila; step-sons, Carroll G. Redman and wife, Janet; Floyd
W. Redman and wife Elenor; stepdaughter, Janice A. Best and husband Kenneth;
nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
In Lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the Elks Lodge #266 Building fun
d or a charity of your choice. Visitation will be held today from 2:00 to
8:00 p.m.
