David Leroy Harrison
Service: Friday, 10 a.m.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, at Hopson-Anspach Family
Mortuary Bakersfield for David Leroy Harrison, 81, 1994. Rev. E. F. Bud Frye
will officiate.
Mr. Harrison, born in California, was manager of Security Pacific Bank from
1931 - 1948 in Los Angeles and relocated to Bakersfield and became co-owner
of Sanitex Cleaners and Laundry until 1975. He practiced real estate until his
full retirement in 1985. Mr. Harrison was active in the East Bakersfield
Kiwanis club, the Elk's Lodge and the Bakersfield Dry Cleaners Association. He
was an avid golfer, a member of Stockdale Country club and served on the board
of Directors.
Survivors include his wife, Janet of Bakersfield; son, Russell Harrison and
wife Marilyn of Palos Verdes; daughter, Christine Beard and husband John of
Bakersfield; grandchildren, John and David Beard, Andrea and Alicia Harrison.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity.
