Highlights: Josiah WILLS was born in Muhlenburgh County, Kentucky, Jan 10,
1825. At age two his family went to Morgan County IL, and then moved to
Macoupin county and stayed there to 1864. Mr. WILLS spent a short time in IA
and then returned to Burton Co, IL where he engaged in the drug business. In
April 1871, he went with is family via the overland railroad to find a home
in CA.
He was twice married, first in Macouopin county IL Sept 14 1844 to Miss
Levina C. LAMARR, a native of TN. She died August 24, 1863. They had seven
children: Elvira, Andrew J., Esther E., Louisa P., George W., Elijah and
Susan (deceased).
He married second, Mrs. Adaline FIELDS, a native of Arkansas. They have no
children.

From CADI
A Josiah WILLS age 88 died in Santa Cruz on Aug 18 1913 but search of the
Santa Cruz Sentinal did not reveal any obituary for him. BUT I did find one
in the Martinez Daily Standard.
He was uncle to Mrs. J. Roe BAKER, survived by daughters, Mrs. P. L.
ROBERTS, Oakland and Miss Louisa WILLS, San Francisco and sons: Andrew,
George, Elizah and William WILLS.

Maybe this is a relative?
