Redding, Shasta Co., California
Tuesday, June 29, 1937

Word was received in Redding Sunday by Irwin Moore of
Redding of the passing of his mother, Mrs. J. M. [Ida]
Moore, 72, at Oakland Sunday morning.

Mrs. Moore was a resident of Inwood for nearly 24
years, her husband having the postoffice there. She
leaves her husband, J. M. Moore, 88.

She is survived by a daughter, Helen Longfellow, and
five sons, Clinton, Lindsay, J. M. Moore Jr., Willard,
and Irwin.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2
o'clock at the Ogburn cemetery near Inwood. McDonald
& Scott will be in charge of interment.

Saturday, December 2, 1939

James Marshall Moore passed on at the home of his son
Clinton A. Moore of Alameda Friday. He was 92 years
old and was born in Nova Scotia. He came to Shasta
county in 1911 and lived here until four years ago.

He leaves besides Clinton Moore, several other sons.
These are Clarence M. Moore of Sausalito, James M.
Moore Jr., John Moore and Willard Moore of Alameda,
Erwin L. Moore of Inwood and one daughter, Mrs. Roy A
Longfellow of Redding.

Services will be a 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon with
graveside rites in the Inwood cemetery. Rev. Ralph H.
Richardson will officiate.

Interment will be by McDonald's Chapel.
