Turlock newpaper, Jan 3, 1912

OLD PIONEER DIED THIS MORNING

George S. Manuel, an old pioneer of Turlock and formerly a cifil engineer,
died this morning at his home on Broadway, opposite the M. E. church. The
deceased who was well known in this city was 56 years, 11 months and 28
days old. He leaves a wife to mourn his loss. The funeral will be held
tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock from M. E. church and interment made in
Turlock cemetery.
