CARMACK, John Cooper - Graveside services for John Cooper Carmack, 64, 107
1/2 San Emidio street, Taft, who died January 7, were conducted in the West
Side Cemetery, Taft, at 2 p.m. today. W. O. Erickson officiated and Erickson &
Brown Funeral Home, Taft, was in charge of arrangements. Mr. Carmack was born
in Kentucky, March 24, 1884, and at the time of his death was employed by
Sanitex Cleaners. Survivors include a widow, Rossie; two daughters, Mrs. Evelyn
Brown, Concord, and Mrs. Betty Brown, San Jose, and five grandchildren.
