Hi Annette,
I found Emil in the death index, it's entirely possibly that Johana is still
alive....I couldn't find her indexed at Daily Obituary Times and there is
someone that indexes the Sacramento Bee at that website.....

I searched births and didn't find any Kunz/Rasmussen births in CA....also
searched www.zabasearch.com and didn't find a Johana Kunz in CA

I am looking for an Obituary/Death Notice for my great grandmothers family
in USA, I hope you can help me.
Being deaf my English is a bit poor, and I don't have verbal communication.
But I hope you understand anyway.

Hers grandchild Johana Marie Rasmussen, born about 1908 in Nebraska,
daughter of Richard Pontoppidan Rasmussen and Anne Christine Rasmussen.

In the 1930 Census she is listed in Chicago - Proviso 2319, Cook, IL:
Richard Rassmessen abt 1882 - Denmark (Rasmessen = Rasmussen)
Anna C Rasmessen abt 1886 - Denmark - Wife
Noami Rassmessen abt 1915 Minnesota - daugther
Johanna Kunz abt 1908 Nebraska - daugther
Emil Kunz abt 1905 - Austria - Son in Law - insurance broker

At the same time I was informed that Johana M. Rasmussen married Emil Kunz
(born in Austria), they lived in Sacramento, California, after Emil Kunz
died about November 1984!
