CRITES, Angus D. - Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday
in the Garden of Roses section in Union Cemetery for Angus D. Crites, 49, 1005
Oleander Ave., who died April 30 in a Bakersfield hospital. Dr. Joyce Wesley
Farr of the First Methodist Church will officiate. Mr. Crites was a native
of Bakersfield. He served in the Army Air force during World War II. He
belonged to the American Legion, Bakersfield Post 26. He was a member of
Bakersfield Lodge 224, F&AM, and the Scottish Rite Bodies of Bakersfield. Survivors
include his widow, Esther Hay Crites; a son, Angus D. Crites II; a sister, Mrs.
Harry M. Conron; a niece, Mrs. Catherine Conron McCuen of Palo Alto; a
great-niece, Pamela McCuen; an uncle George J. Crites of Baltimore, Md.; an aunt,
Mrs. E. L. Hougham of Bakersfield. Services are under the direction of
Doughty-Calhoun-O'Meara funeral Directors.
