HOBBS, Ples Harmon - Funeral services will be conducted in the chapel at
Greenlawn Mortuary tomorrow at 1:30 for Ples Harmon Hobbs, 71, 4032 Jewett Lane,
who died Oct. 13 in a Bakersfield hospital. The Rev. Orman Roberts of
Trinity Methodist Church will officiate and interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial
Park. Mr. Hobbs was a native of Texas and had lived in this community for 30
years. Survivors include his sons, Paul Hobbs, Bakersfield; Leonard Hobbs,
Adren Hobbs, both of Stockton; Bill Hobbs, Bakersfield; Eugene Hobbs, San
Bernardino; daughters, Mrs. Jewel Lard, Los Angeles; Mrs. Lucille Fowler,
Crescent City; brothers, D. Hobbs, Oklahoma; Alfred Hobbs, Texas; three sisters,
Mrs. Berta Sparks, Texas; Mrs. S. R. Moore, Texas; Mrs. N. A. White, Texas.
