The closest match I could find for a Harold TODD in 1930, not a good match
tho;
in Long Beach, Los Angeles Co, line 85,
Harry TODD lodger m w 26y Div b.CO IA CAN-Nova Scotia, Salesman/Photo shop
I also searched 1930 CA index: for Har* born 1903-1905 with mother Eth* but
no results.
And i didn't have very good luck searching for Ethelyn in 1930; seems to
have been a popular first name, and she most likely remarried or went back
to her first married name or maiden name; so I looked at several census
images of variuos last names of whose father b.ENG and mother b.ME (which
she seemed to be consistant with) but couldn't find a good match.
I also looked at all 22 listings in the 1900 CA index: of a
female/wife/white/b.ME 1850-60/Sacramento Co, to see if any of them had a
daughter Ethelyn but no luck;
then I check all the Ethel*n born 1879-1881 to see if they had a fa/b/Eng
and mo/b/ME, but no good matches; the closest I came was this one:

Hi Richard,
So that means Ethel Wilkinson isn't Ethelyn.....oh well, I had fun looking
at parent's birth places....but then the census isn't always accurate for
information like that anyway.....
Have you done 1930 census records? If not, I had previously cc'd Nancy so
maybe she can find something on Ethelyn from 1930.....
I'm ccing Delbert, maybe he can find an obit on Will - I don't think dc
transcriptions are allowed anymore in Alameda county so you might have to
order a copy of his death certificate - maybe Ethelyn is buried next to
Will. The dc should give you burial information.
And I've already ccing Sandra Harris, it's possible she can find an obit in
the Sacramento paper.
