Monday, May 30, 1966

Wendell Irvin Houser, 59, of Summit City died Saturday
at a Redding hospital after a short illness. Houser
was born Sept. 11, 1906 in Texas and had lived in the
Redding area two years. He was a heavy equipment
operator.

He leaves his widow, Margaret of Summit City; a son,
Robert F. of Alaska; five daughters, Mrs. Jackie Kidd
and Mrs. Charolette Martindale, both of Summit City,
Mrs. Leota Bray of Oklahoma, Mrs. Doris Bosley of
Texas and Mrs. Wendella Lyda of Colorado; four
sisters, Mrs. Cleo Taylor of Arizona, Mrs. Joyce
Harris of New Mexico and Miss Florence Houser and Miss
Christine Houser, both of Texas; two brothers, David
D. and Chester, both of Texas; and 20 grandchildren.

Funeral services are being arranged by the Linn &
Fulkerth Chapel of Redding.
