Carson - In the Willows, Cal. June 27, 1910, Nathaniel R. Carson, beloved
father of Mrs. Emma Luckhardt, of San Francisco and Mrs. H. F. Coe, a
native of Maryland, aged 76 years, 3 months and 3 days.

Death of N. B. Carson, Well Known Druggist
Nathaniel B. Carson, for many years a member of the Carson-Riley Drug
Company of San Jose and a veteran of the Civiil war died at his hom in the
Willows Monday afternoon. Mr. Carson as 73 years of age. His death was due
partially to an accident which occurred at his drug store in Hester three
years ago when he fell from a chair while lighting the gas.
Two daughters survive the deceasesd, Mrs. Emma Luckhardt of San Francisco
and Mrs. H. F. Coe of San Jose.

It's possible that Emma married Ernest Luckhardt, died 7/29/1926, spouse E,
age 49, San Francisco....
I've attached a death notice for a child in 1909 - it's also possible that
this birth wasn't recorded when they lived in Santa Clara county....

have you done any census work? I tried to get on to Heritage Quest this
evening but it is down for maintenance until tomorrow.

Nathaniel Carson
b. 1835 Maryland

His last census record is from 1910, Santa Clara County, CA where he is
listed as 75 years old. He likely died between 1910 and 1920 in Santa Clara
County.
