Thank you very much. Yes, I did already have some of that, but I had not
gone after some of it yet, and I appreciate your making sure I knew about all
of that. I would like to see what is in that DAR application.

The Viele family was Dutch and settled in New Amsterdam in the 1600's, and I
have the old family notes, and an old published family history that gives
the lineage going back that far and beyond -- all of which needs verification
(groan). However, I often learn so much interesting information along the way
to getting the documentation I need, that it ends up being a lot of fun.

Again, this list has a wonderful and kind group of people. Makes me wish we
had more ancestors who had migrated to California at some time. ;-)
