Paul Grimwood:
I'm sorry that I am so late getting back. I work on the weekend and it
takes me about a day to come alive again.
thank you I only have the 1871 census . in that my grandfather was about 8
years old, plus another brother had been born. I didn't have the kind of
house they lived in though. i have never learned how to navigate the
census very well I know there must be more information in them than I have
gleaned.
What I haven't done though, is proven the information that I received then.
It has all the family names. George Alexander was my father's name, so it
seems to have come down in the family. William was my Grandfather's and
James was a Granduncle that I have found some information on. What I need
now is try for the Death Registration. What I usually do is find the date
from the OCFA and go from there. The LDS has some of that information. So
far I haven't been lucky up at the Archives for that. I am going to give a
try at the Ontario Archives by mail.
thank you for your help I'm sure they have many more years up there. I just
find it hard to get there.
